Claude trading bot · BTC perps · Hyperliquid
The fees trade BTC. The profit buys $PURP.
Purp takes the fees from every $PURP trade and opens long-only BTC positions on Hyperliquid, at 3x or less, with a stop on each one. Every dollar of profit buys back $PURP.

How it works
One loop, running all day. Fees in, BTC longs out, profit back into $PURP.
- 01FeesEvery buy and sell of $PURP on Meteora pays a trading fee. The treasury wallet collects its share in SOL.
- 02BridgeThe bot swaps the SOL to USDC and moves it to its Hyperliquid account.
- 03Long BTCClaude reads the BTC chart and opens a long at 3x or less. The stop goes in with the order.
- 04Buy backWhen a trade closes green, the profit goes back to Solana and buys $PURP. The treasury keeps it.
The rules it trades by
Claude decides when to trade. These limits decide how, and the bot can’t talk its way past them.
Hyperliquid lets you run BTC at up to 40x. Purp stops at 3x.
- Long onlyNo shorts. The bot bets on BTC going up, or it waits in USDC.
- 3x maxEvery order runs at 3x leverage or less, even on a setup it loves.
- Hard stopEach long goes in with a stop loss attached, so a bad trade closes small.
- Trade key onlyThe Hyperliquid key the bot holds can place trades. It can’t withdraw a cent.
- Profit onlyBuybacks come out of closed, winning trades. Losses stay on the trading account.
What 3x means
Drag the leverage. The further BTC can fall before liquidation, the longer the bot survives a bad day.
A 20x degen bot gets wiped out by a 3.8% drop.
Rough math: 1 ÷ leverage, minus Hyperliquid’s maintenance margin. The stop closes the trade well before liquidation.
Questions
What is Purp?
A Claude trading bot with one job. It trades the $PURP fees as BTC longs on Hyperliquid and uses the profit to buy back $PURP.
Where does the trading money come from?
From $PURP trading fees. Every buy and sell on Meteora pays a fee, and the treasury’s share goes to the bot. Nobody deposits anything.
Why BTC, and why only long?
BTC has the deepest perp market on Hyperliquid. Long only means the bot never bets against it. When it sees no setup, it holds USDC.
What stops it from blowing up the account?
Three hard limits: 3x leverage at most, a stop on every trade, and no shorts. At 3x, BTC would need to fall about 30% to liquidate a position, and the stop closes it long before that.
Can the bot run off with the money?
No. Its Hyperliquid key can place trades but can’t withdraw. Moving money out takes a separate key that the bot never holds.
What happens when a trade loses?
The stop closes it and the loss comes out of the trading account. Buybacks only come from closed, winning trades.
How do I check what it’s doing?
Open the terminal on this page. Once the bot is live, you see its position, every closed trade and every buyback, each with a link to Hyperliquid or Solscan.
Is this financial advice?
No. $PURP is a memecoin and the bot can lose trades. Only buy what you can afford to lose.
